Sometimes melodies pop into my head unbidden. This one came in after watching the last episode of Untamed (highly recommend) on Netflix. It’s similar to the music over the closing credits, so not surprising, but still different enough as to feel like its own thing. Both Amberly & I agree that it is something from somewhere, but we can’t put a finger on it.
I couldn’t stop singing it for ten or fifteen minutes, that last five of which I captured on a voice memo walking around the house (as you’ll hear) and then finally putting some chords to it, which I didn’t get quite right, so they altered the melody slightly. I cut that down to about two minutes and put on some quick effects for fun.
Can you help me name that tune? It feels Western, maybe Native American… Bonus question: which version (of the melody) do you like better?
